We tailor our services to your individual needs, whether you choose a traditional, modern, simple or low-cost direct service. Arrangements can be based on a burial, cremation or natural burial, religious, civil or non-religious service. We will work with you to create a fitting farewell for your loved one.
We can support you by organising printed orders of service, floral tributes, music and arranging donations for charity. Being independent means we have the flexibility to offer a comprehensive, personal and caring service to suit your needs.
Our dedicated Announcements and Donations page provides details about recent and upcoming funerals, enabling friends and family to donate to a chosen charity in memory of a loved one, and giving details of the service including location and parking.
Announcements & DonationsWe are able to hold your ashes for 12 months, after which we will contact you for a further decision which might include scattering, burial or keeping them. What you choose to keep them in may be determined by what you want to do with them.
View Ashes optionsThere are many different types of coffin to suit individual tastes and budgets. Here are some examples of most commonly used coffins, available in different materials, colours, choice of handles and finishes, and prices vary depending on design.
View Coffin optionsSome people choose to keep small amounts of ashes and have them created into mementoes to keep. Here are a few examples, and there are others other things available.
View Mementos and KeepsakesAs a matter of course we provide a plastic grave marker as a temporary measure. Many churchyards and cemeteries require a grave marker. These are classed as temporary as it is usually expected a permanent memorial will be erected once ground has time to settle.
View Grave MarkersA beautiful way to personalise a funeral using favourite flowers, colours and blooms. We work closely with many talented local florists and are happy to arrange your floral tributes on your behalf. Alternatively, we can recommend florists for you to order directly if you prefer.
We can organise music for your funeral and would be happy to recommend musicicans such as organists, choirs, bagpipes or string quartets to play before, during or after your funeral service. We have equipment to play a favourite CD either indoors or outdoors. Music and live streaming or recording of the funeral can be arranged at a church or crematorium and can even include a short slide show at the crematorium.
Our bespoke orders of service are designed and printed in house, and can include photos, poems, hymns and songs that are special to your loved one. Service sheets can be further personalised with a colour photo of the person you love.
We do our best to accommodate special requests such as colourful ties or driving past a favourite place on the way to the funeral – it’s often the little things that can make it personal and mean a lot to families.
We work closely with specialist companies to provide aftercare and bereavement support including SAIF Berevement Care, When Life Changes and Solution Focused Therapy, community support and additional services such as probate, paperwork organisation, furniture and clothing donations.
