Pints and Planning
April 20, 2026Over the next few weeks, we'll be running a series of relaxed, informal sessions to give people the opportunity to find out more about funerals and ask any questions that might be on your mind.
Living and working in our local community, we're often asked questions about funerals when we're out and about, when we’re out at the pub, even on the side of the rugby pitch or school playground!
Where are we holding the session? In the pub. Why? Because we understand that people might find popping to the pub easier than making an appointment at one of our offices. And because we want you to feel comfortable discussing ideas about funerals.
So we’ll be there in our jeans, not our top hat and tails! And you can ask us anything. The little questions (which aren't silly, we promise!) or the serious ones.
You might want to discuss funeral wishes for yourself or someone else. Perhaps you're curious about prepaid funeral plans, and how to make your funeral wishes known.
We believe it’s important to share our ideas about our own funerals as it can relieve a lot of pressure of our families if they have some idea of the funeral service we might like.
Sessions will be held at:
- The George Townhouse in Shipston on Stour on Wednesday 20th May 7-9pm
- The King's Head in Wellesbourne on Wednesday 3rd June 7-9pm
- The George in Brailes on Wednesday 17th June 7-9pm
We'd love to see you there, and you can bring along a friend if you want!
Can't make the sessions? We’re happy to chat over the phone, visit you at home or you can make an appointment at our offices, with no obligations, to answer any questions you might have.
