Coffee Mornings in aid of Parkinson's UK
July 15, 2026Funeral Directors across the nation are uniting to host coffee mornings in aid of Parkinson’s UK.
As members of SAIF, the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors, R. Locke & Son are proudly hosting three coffee mornings to raise money, awareness and support for Parkinson’s UK.
- Shipston on Stour: Thursday 30th July 10am - 12pm
- Wellesbourne: Friday 31st July 10am - 12pm
- Brailes: Saturday 1st August 10am - 12pm
Each SAIF National President chooses a charity to support during their term. For 2026, SAIF President Gary Staker has chosen Parkinson’s UK after hearing how deeply the condition can affect both the person living with Parkinson’s and the family around them.
The ‘President’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ will take place across the nation throughout July and August as a way for Funeral Directors to connect with colleagues, local people and community groups while supporting an important cause.
Events also reflect the important role independent funeral directors play at the heart of their communities, with a welcoming cup of coffee or tea, cake and conversation for local people who wish to attend.
Donations to Parkinson’s UK will also be gratefully received via SAIF’s Just Giving page.
