That’s why we offer a range of aftercare and bereavement services designed to help you and your family adjust, remember and heal in your own way, at your own pace. Whether you’d like someone to talk to, community support or practical guidance, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
As part of our commitment to caring for bereaved families, we have teamed up with the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) to offer further support and advice to people experiencing grief. The SAIF Care team is there to offer a listening ear and give reliable information about a range of help and services available near you, and they provides a free telephone helpliine, email support and a free live webchat service.
SAIF Bereavement CareWhen Life Changes offer help to those struggling to cope with grief after a loss, providing information and encouragement to grieving people and those who seek to support them. They offer a series of videos for emotional support as well as providing a community programme of in person sessions.
When Life ChangesSolution Focus Therapy (SFT) has been characterised as the ‘therapy of hope’ to help clients find meaningful solutions to problems in life, and can be a powerful and effective way of supporting your journey through loss, bereavement and gief. Practical SupportAs an established family business serving our rural communities, R. Locke & Son are proud to support community events and support groups, including drop in sessions at venues such as the Ellen Badger Bereavement Cafe with Shipston Home Nursing, as well as local church groups and cafe sessions. There are a wide variety of national support organisations, groups and charities who offer bereavement support services, including specialist support for widows, cancer patients, child bereavement, mental health, road accidents, suicide and more.
